Background: Under the guidance of Moomken Organization's Head of PMD, the M&E Officer will play a critical role in monitoring and ensuring the high quality and timeliness of project inputs. This role is pivotal in maintaining the strategic vision of our projects, ensuring that activities lead to the intended outcomes efficiently and effectively.
The M&E Officer will be tasked with designing and implementing the M&E activities of our projects, supporting the project managers in preparing regular progress reports, and conducting regular monitoring of project activities. This includes developing and maintaining a robust Management Information System (MIS) for the projects and handling the collection and analysis of project-related data.
Working closely with our project teams, the M&E Officer will ensure that our projects make a meaningful impact in line with our organizational goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develop and enhance monitoring, inspection, and evaluation processes.
· Monitor project activities, and progress towards achieving project outputs.
· Recommend improvements to the project framework.
· Develop indicators and strategies for measuring project success.
· Evaluate overall progress on achievement of results and project sustainability.
· Provide feedback and suggest efficiency-enhancing strategies to the Project Manager.
· Regularly report on project activities to the Project Manager and organizational leadership.
· Conduct capacity assessments on existing monitoring and evaluation systems.
· Contribute to project reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
· Participate in project reviews and planning workshops.
· Support the evaluation of the project's effects and impact.
· Assist in coordinating M&E and MIS components for effective implementation.
· Perform other relevant duties as required.
Measurable Outputs and Performance Indicators:
· Preparation of monthly MIS reports.
· Organize and conduct M&E/MIS training for project and government staff.
· Input in the preparation of innovative project reports.
· Maintain a project database.

Required Skills and Experience:
· University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
· Minimum 2 years' experience in M&E/MIS in projects run by NGOs, international organizations, or government.
· Experience in tool and strategy design for data collection and report production.
· Proficiency in ICT and MIS software, and statistical analysis.
· Strong training & facilitation skills.
Language Requirements:
· Fluency in English and Arabic.
